Pathways to becoming a Social Worker

There are a range of routes you can choose, one of which is through the completion of a social work qualifying degree.  Both our University partners offer undergraduate and post-graduate options including new four-year integrated Masters programmes.  The Masters programme combines undergraduate and postgraduate study into a single degree, helping you prepare to work in all social care settings.

University and local authority partners work closely to ensure students are supported to make the transition to social work practitioners.
