Social Work Events Assessment – it’s not rocket science!

Welcome to this unusual webinar where we don’t promise to teach you anything new! Why?

As social workers you are well grounded in the purpose of assessment; the things a good assessment should include, the framework you use is clearly defined in policy and procedure and yet all too often assessment becomes a burden of criticism because it was “too descriptive; lacked analysis, out of time scales, too long, too short, missing the child’s voice” and the list goes on…

So, what we want to focus on in this webinar is what we know works and to consider how we can do it more effectively. We will explore the process of assessment and together we will draw hints and tips and strategies to enhance your current assessment practice.
